Our mission is to help you create a beautiful and memorable event you and your guests will love. The work we do is wild and artful. All our floral pieces use local flowers & foliage you won’t find anywhere else (cause we grow them ourselves) and tried and true favorites from other Alaskan farmers and beyond.

Bloomsbury Blooms specializes in wedding florals and event design. An artistically curated mix of locally grown, foraged and imported beauty. Seasonal floral design with a romantic yet wild style to it. Established in 2012.

From an early age, I could often be found knee deep in mud & weeds. I spent my most memorable childhood summers exploring the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, gathering treasures under the shade of the oaks on my abuelita’s ranch. When I moved north to Alaska, my love for the natural world grew deeper still. I found myself out foraging food & flowers on our endless trails, returning home with basketfuls of lupine, fireweed, fern, & fritillaria. Designing floral vignettes became a creative outlet as I balanced a career working in nonprofits. I made the jump into full-time floral design 5 years ago & have never looked back!

As a born and raised Alaskan I have a deep love and respect for all things in nature. I grew up spending summers commercial fishing in Cook Inlet and foraging yarrow on the shores that I have the privilege to call home. My hope is to translate my love for adventure and the beautiful outdoors into my art by using foraged Alaskan blooms as well as locally sourced and grown florals as much as possible.

Johanna Andersen Creative does floral preservation, framing, and design. Their main focus is preservation through the process of pressing. They take florals from your wedding and turn it into a framed piece of everlasting, floral beauty.

Passion for Alaska's inspiring panoramas and natural beauty led us to create Outland Events. Our combined background gives us the knowledge to help couples access the Last Frontier and create an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experience that's distinctive to them. Alaska's mountains, glaciers, rugged beaches, tidal inlets, and vast tundras make incredible settings for celebrations. We collaborate with couples to select locations that complement their personal love story and aesthetics. Every proposal, elopement, wedding, and vow renewal is special to us and we love working to turn your dreams into reality.

At Uptown Blossoms we do consultations for wedding flowers, wedding planning and memorial services. Uptown Blossoms has been in business for more then 35 years.

Hey y’all! Honey Bee is a wedding and special event florist located in Anchorage, Alaska. I absolutely love creating beautiful, romantic arrangements for couples taking the big step into the next glorious chapter of their lives. It's always an honor to be a part of my client’s big day.

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Wood & Word Blooms is run by a Jen Angle, former teacher of 20+ years and specializes in using hand-painted wood flowers along with a faux, dried and preserved florals (nothing fresh here) to bring your wedding vision to life not just for that one glorious day but forever. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

As a special event florist my mission is to create original, quality, lasting keepsake florals, which reflect the beauty and eternal love that they help celebrate. Everything from first contact to completion is done solely through me. Yep, I’m a one-woman show. I love having personal interactions with all my clients and customers. Creating something truly unique for you is my greatest passion. Whether you are set on an inspiration picture, need me to take creative reign or anything in between, I desire to join you in the venture for the perfect finished product.
