As you may have seen on the above announcement, we have had to make some changes to our plans due to Covid-19 and the current situation and government guidelines. We will still be getting married on May 30th, but with only a few members of our families in a small private ceremony. We have chosen to postpone the reception so we can still celebrate together in the future. More information will become available as we figure it out, so stay tuned. We are praying for you all and hope you are staying safe and healthy!
During orientation week of my (Sarah's) freshman year we met at a Cru barbecue and volleyball game. Zeb totally had a crush on me, I thought he was just some weird old guy, but one year later and few swing dances in things seemed to have worked out. After some awkwardness and a hike along Bare Bluff we started dating, and turns out Zeb still has a crush on me and I still think he's weird ;)
Imagine winter. Snow. Gale force winds off a frozen Lake Superior. Then in classic college student fashion we forded rivers and snowshoed up a mountain! at the top I had to change cause I was all sweaty and getting cold. In my second jacket I had the ring in the pocket. So then I asked Sarah to marry me with a view of the entire Keweenaw in all directions. My hand froze, she said yes, her hands froze. It was adorable.
