As Emma was entering her third year of college, but at a new school and Wyatt, just becoming a college career; both had no idea what God has in store for them. Emma, being late as always had walked into school and turned the corner and saw Wyatt. Immediately feeling butterflies, she sat at her desk and began her work. Within weeks, the two became best friends, all the while they were falling for each other but keeping it to themselves. So much so, they became inseparable, chugging sprite and burping up a storm to hanging out and having conversations in the church parking lot every Thursday after bible study. Wyatt soon became very open about his feelings while Emma, scared and afraid of the unknown, declined Wyatt. They would find themselves distanced form each other but it would not last long as Emma would soon confess the feelings that she would have for Wyatt. After church one Sunday, the two went to Salsa Grille with some friends and Wyatt popped the question that would kick start their journey of life together, "Will you be my girlfriend?". Nervous yet somehow comfortable, Emma said, "Yes.". From this moment on, the two would spent every single day together laughing so hard it brought tears.

On February 10th, 2023 Wyatt texted Emma insisting they dress up and go enjoy a fancy dinner. Not thinking anything of it, as usual, Emma declined. She would soon find out that Wyatt was not going to let up. Hours had gone by and she finally agreed to go on a date with him. By this time she was becoming a little suspicious of what may come later in the evening. She began questioning her mother, making her promise that Wyatt had not let her know of any proposal. Confidently, her mother continued to attempt to persuade Emma that Wyatt did not have any intention on popping the big question. Later in the evening the two enjoyed a delicious meal and lots of laughter. Following dinner, Wyatt was not quick to taking Emma home, rather he told her there is one more thing to do. At this point she began questioning if her mom knew about a possible proposal. Minutes passed and Wyatt pulled into their church parking lot. Though, not the usual proposal spot, this parking lot holds a lot of memories for the two and their relationship. Wyatt got Emma out of the car and began recording. Both laughing, Wyatt positioned himself you one knee asking, "Will you marry me?". Immediately Emma can't help but say yes!
