UPDATE: Due to the devastating Woolsey Fires, we will no longer be hosting our wedding at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu Canyon. Though the venue was saved, there was significant infrastructure damage preventing us from celebrating onsite. We are grateful to have relocated to the Westlake Village Inn, and all event timing will remain the same. Our website has been updated with new details. We met while working together at Travelzoo.com and were friends from the start. We quickly bonded over living in the same neighborhood (a very lucky occurrence in sprawling Los Angeles) and shared interests like live music, hiking, travel, spending time with family and friends, and of course, pets. Fast forward over three years later, and here we are, looking forward to tying the knot surrounded by all the people we love.

A shared love of music and the folk artist Langhorne Slim inspired Brandon's proposal at the famous Largo theatre in West Hollywood. After special coordination with the musician himself, Brandon planned the perfect mid-show proposal. Everything was running according to plan, when Brandon read the most stressful text he'd ever received: "I'm too tired to go to the concert tonight, can you take someone else?" Staying cool, calm and collected, he changed her mind just in the knick of time and Lauren made it to the show. She was completely surprised when he pulled her onstage and got down on one knee in front of the crowd. It was a show they'll both never forget!
