FAQs

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

We don't have a formal dress code, but business-casual-esque (no jeans) is a good baseline. This is a wedding in Wisconsin in the winter so just make sure you have what you need to stay warm.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We adore all the kids in our lives but, outside of the kids in the wedding and their siblings, the wedding and reception are adults-only.

Question

Will there be transportation to/from the hotel?

Answer

Yes, we are arranging a shuttle to and from the Hampton Inn Glendale. More info to come. If you book at a different hotel, Uber and Lyft do have drivers in the area as we are not too far from Milwaukee.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Yes, if your invitation says “and Guest" on it. If it does not, we would prefer it just be you!

Question

What's WI weather like in December?

Answer

Wisconsin in December is usually cold, but not too bad. Usually it'll be 20s-30s with some snow, though around the same time in 2022 we did see the bomb cyclone that brought negative temperatures and high winds. To be safe, we'd recommend keeping an eye on your preferred weather site as we get closer to the wedding date.

Question

What is there to do in Milwaukee?

Answer

We'll be adding a section soon with stuff to do around town!

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

Dinner will be served buffet style. The current menu is: -Salad (fresh pears, gorgonzola, candied walnuts, greens, pear balsamic vinaigrette) -Lemony Chicken with Capers & Fresh Rosemary -Butternut Squash & Crimini Mushroom Lasagna -Roasted Root Vegetables with Maple Syrup Glaze -Oven Brown Potatoes -Bread If you have any concerns about allergies, please reach out!

Question

Are there any COVID guidelines?

Answer

As COVID cases (and other respiratory diseases) will rise during the winter, we ask that if you are not feeling well that you please stay home. While we would love to have everyone there, we also want folks to not pick up any illnesses while they're here. Masking is not required, but it is encouraged. We also recommend that everyone get their booster before attending.
