Maid of Honor

Mary and Jenna first met when Jenna was a freshman in high school. Through out high school they became closer as they bonded over mutual friends, a love for music, art and dumb boys who were into bmx and skateboarding. As they grew up together Mary was always an unwavering constant in Jenna's life and as they grew into adults it remains the same. Now Mary lives in Colorado but with daily texts, phone calls, or social media posts they never miss a beat in each others daily lives. Sometimes the messages start as early as 5am but they wouldn't have it any other way! This summer Jenna will have the honor of being Mary's Maid of Honor at her wedding this summer on August 4, 2019! Cheers to the Mitchells!

Scott Madison

Best Man

Scott R. Madison, one of Steven’s Best Men, has been with Steven from basically the beginning. His parents, Bob and Jackie, are very close friends with Dave and Sandie and have always really been considered to be extended family. Scott and Steve grew up together, playing sports, fishing, always competing in some way. Steve lived with Scott multiple times as they grew up and even when Scott moved out west for a spell, they have always remained close. Scott is now happily married to a young lady named Greta with a good looking young son named Thomas and are living in the La Grange area. Scott cleans up well, and thusly we are thrilled to have him stand for our special occasion.

Erica Constant

Erica and Jenna met in the summer of 2009 at Howey's. They realized that they liked working together so much that they should hang-out outside of work as well! Once they realize that they both were from Texas, well that was it... friends for Life. Erica and Jenna's friendship has been a supportive and truthful friendship during a time in both their lives they needed a bit of soul searching. Being each other's support system and biggest cheerleaders at times gives Erica a special place in Jenna's heart. Erica is not just important to Jenna but she is an important to Steven as well. They first met in high school and while working at Howey's they got closer as friends. Being so close to both the bride and the groom they joke about which side Erica should actually stand on!

Kevin Goodyear

Best Man

Kevin R. Goodyear is another of Steven’s Best Men, and has similarly been considered to be a member of Steven’s family for about as long as anyone can remember. His mother worked with Steven’s Dad when Steven and Kevin were no more than 3 and they have been friends ever since. Steven's and Kevin's Dads coached the boys in Pony League Baseball as well as in life. Kevin and Steven also worked together in the Land Surveying industry at both Midwest Technical and then again at Jacob and Hefner, where Steven currently works. Kevin also bowls with both his and Steven’s dad on Wednesday nights because it makes him feel young. Kevin is married with two handsome young men named Kegan and Nate. Another diehard Cubs fan; Kevin is my guy, and we are proud to have him stand with us

Danielle Rafaelle

Danielle is one of Jenna's closest cousins. Although they never lived closed to one another their parent's got the families together once a year for a visit or family vacation. Danielle has been part of many favorite summer vacations for Jenna and is in some of her most favorite family memories. Jenna and Danielle still try to carry on the tradition of families getting together once a year, usually around Christmas. Whenever they get together it's like they never spent any time apart. Even thought they don't see each other often Danielle has always been one of Jenna's biggest supporters.

Brian Ferrelli

Groomsman

Brian R. Ferrelli—Brian has been one of the guys since he and Steven met one another at Howey’s On 71. Despite the fact that Howey’s is gone, the memories the two made with others who worked there still remain. Comically, Steven actually thought Brian was his older brother for the first few weeks after meeting. Steven had graduated with Scott, who is Brian’s older brother. They looked enough alike that there was some resulting confusion, but by the time the two were done laughing about what had happened, they realized that they had become great friends. They lived together in a house in Oswego that they rented and Brian became very close with both Steven and Jenna during that time. As long and lanky as you can clearly see that he is, we sure are glad that he is standing with us today.

Julie Stinson

Bridesmaid

Jenna met Julie in high school.. She was Jenna's brother's high school sweet heart and eventually became her Sister-In-Law. Julie has always opened up her home and her heart to Jenna. She regularly sends Jenna "Check In" texts to stay present in each of their busy lives. Jenna and Julie enjoy going shopping with one another when they can. Somehow it's never a bad time! Julie has supported Steven and Jenna from the start of their relationship. The couple is proud to have her stand by their side to help them say their "I-dos".

David Conklin

Groomsman

David A. Conklin— Although David and Steven didn’t meet until they were about 20 at Midwest Technical, the two have always had a unique relationship. Having met through land surveying, much of the time they spent together early on was time on the clock. But being on a job site never kept them from sharing laugh after laugh, day after day. Before they knew it, they found themselves hanging out outside of work and noticed that a legitimate friendship had developed. David is another of Steven’s friends that ended up making a move to the Pacific Northwest coast, but they had forged a friendship that would survive that distance and David is still one of Steven’s closest companions, and we are happy to have him stand up on our day.

Janel Cook

Bridesmaid

Janel is Steven's sister. Over the years Jenna has gotten to know Janel she has always been in support of Jenna and Steven. She shares the same witty sense of humor that Jenna loves about Steven. As Steven's only sibling, they also have another undeniably strong thread of commonality in that they both bleed Cubbie Blue:) Janel is a sister, a wife, a daughter and mother of three. Still residing in the Oswego area, Steven and Jenna have been able to maintain a relationship with the Cook family and watch as their kids have grown up. Both Jenna and Steven are very happy to have Janel be both family and friend, and are delighted to have her stand and witness their special day right by both of their sides.

Mike Cook

Groomsman

Michael Cook—Mike Cook is the only man we have standing today who is actually a family member. Mike married Janel (then Chally) Cook, Steven’s only sister in 2003, making him Steven’s only Brother-in-Law. They have a family of 5 now, and Steven is very proud of his handsome nephew, RJ, and his two beautiful nieces, Miranda and Ashely. Mike and Janel live in Oswego as well, so Steven and Jenna are able to stay current with their lives as well as those of the kids. Both a teacher and a coach, Mike is a guy who never seems to be short of some clever wisdom to impart. Steven admires how happy he sees his sister and her family and knows that Mike is largely to thank for this. We are honored that he will stand alongside of us on this special day.

David Stinson

Officiant

David is Jenna's older brother and only sibling. Growing up with David was probably a lot like any girl with an older brother. There were fun days and then there was, well... days where you were the younger sister. David is responsible for introducing Jenna to some of her most favorite things in life. He shared his music, movies, and even sometimes his best friends with Jenna. Today David still shares so much with Jenna. He is a constant rock in her life. When ever there was a big event in Jenna's life David has always been there, never judging and always listening. His love for the Lord and his family makes him the perfect person in Steven and Jenna's eyes to officiate there wedding.

Natalie & Abigail

Natalie (7 yrs.) & Abigail (4 yrs.) are Jenna's nieces. They are special little ladies in our family. Over the years Steven has gotten to know them, they truly have stolen a piece of his heart. Although, Natalie and Abigail are sister's, their personalities are adorably different. Each has their own shining personality and we hope you get to see why we choose them to share in our big day!
