Danielle believes that this was the first time they met, BUT Troy always fights her and says it was earlier. She claims they met at the crazy "holiday" in Manhattan, KS known as Fake Patty's Day (romantic, right?!). They got to know each other while watching a couple games of pool and drinking a couple beers.

They continued talking off and on that following summer, but sparks didn't fly until after two of their best friends' wedding that August. The rest is history! The next years consisted of lots of learning. Danielle had to learn A LOT about farming and cattle. Troy learned (and is still learning) how to deal with the never-ending pet hair indoors because shortly after getting together Danielle picked up her new sidekick, Maggie! He also quickly learned that she goes nowhere without her.

After a move to KC for Danielle and Maggie, two moves for Troy and close to three years later, he decided he was done with only getting to see his two favorite gals a few days a month. He completely surprised Danielle after a rough day (the patience this man has is amazing) with a picture perfect ring that she's always wanted.

They can't wait to celebrate their special day with all of you!
