Yellowstone National Park is up the road (54 miles) to the East Gate, keep in mind Old Faithful is on the West side of the Park.
Shoshone National Forest is close as well.
An unbelievable amount of hiking trails, ranging from easy strolls to steep climbing.
Buffalo Bill State Park is 10 miles from Cody.
Walking trail on the north side of town that takes you above and below to the river. Amazing sights.
The Cody Night Rodeo, an amateur rodeo that occurs every night, in the Sumer. There are some professional rodeos but they are scarce, we just might get lucky on this weekend but no guarantees.
