Matron of Honor
We've been besties since alphabetical order made us next door seat buddies in 6th grade homeroom. We are sisters not by birth, but by choice. There's no one else I'd rather have a sleepover (at any age), eat hot pockets and drink Starbucks, or almost burn my parents' house down with! You'll have to ask her about that last story.
Best Man
MC and Morrison Heights brought us together. More specifically we met during a bible study for freshmen. We became fast friends and later roomed together our sophomore-senior years. We served on Morrison Heights College Ministry lead team together during that time. It's amazing that God saw fit to bring this gentleman from Corpus Christi, Texas into my life!
Bridesmaid
Although we lived 10 minutes from each other most of our lives and went to rival high schools, we didn't meet until we both rushed Chi Omega at Mississippi State in 2012 (both our sophomore years). We were roommates junior and senior year - she always managed to get me to come out for "just one" drink and we ended up staying for late night cheese fries.
Brother of the Groom/Groomsman
Being both brother and friend isn't always a given, unfortunately. Thankfully, I can say that this man is both. We were blessed to have such a wonderful home to grow up in. We played together, went on family trips together, and in general experienced life together.
Bridesmaid
This beautiful lady and I got our friendship started back in our high school glory days - marching band flautist friends are forever! Even though I bleed maroon and white, there will always be a piece of my heart in Rocky Top.
Father of the Groom/Groomsman
This hardworking, patient and goofy man is one of my most favorite people. He has taught me many things over the years. Most of his instruction was by example. I have watched over the years how to be patient, kind, hard-working, and that it's okay to be goofy and not take yourself so seriously. He also set such a wonderful example for how a man should treat a woman.
Bridesmaid
The Phi Delta Chi Omega sisterhood brought us together in 2012. She is my beautiful, sassy, and whiskey loving Mississippi queen. Guaranteed to be the one to keep me out on the dance floor.
Groomsman
We met in sixth grade through Over the Mountain football (believe it or not, he was our center). Since that season our friendship has seen us through middle school, high school and beyond. From algebra classes to pickup basketball games, this guy has been a wonderful friend.
Bridesmaid
Another beautiful friendship that came out of the Phi Delta Chi Omega sisterhood, I don't know what I would do without my Mustang driving, also whiskey loving, Hattiesburg gal. I know she's always got my back - thanks for always being willing to adjust me!
Groomsman
This guy was one of my first friends in elementary school. We started hanging out in second grade at Green Valley. Since we lived just a few streets over from the other, our moms would take turns carpooling. From sleepovers to middle school shenanigans, this man has been a constant friend.
Bridesmaid
The Sweet Home Alabama to my Tennessee, here is another sweet and beautiful friendship that came out of the Phi Delta Chi Omega sisterhood (do we see a pattern?). She was the one who could convince me to go to Cowbells instead of going home. She also one time serenaded me via karaoke on our senior year cruise trip.
Bridesmaid
Last but most certainly not least, the final lady in the Chi Omega lineup is my Tupelo honey! She gives the best hugs, can always make me laugh, and is quite literally one of the kindest people you'll ever meet. We're apparently really terrible at taking pictures just the two of us, so here's our first one together ever from a swap in 2012.
Groomsman
Another MC and Morrison Heights friend who also served on the lead team. An incredibly talented pianist and Super Smash Bros player. A faithful friend and man of prayer. I'm thankful to have this gentleman in my life.
