This event is semi-formal! Some good rules of thumb for this are dresses and dress pants, button down shirts, etc. Please, no jeans. Ties not required!
The Ceremony will take place in the Sanctuary at the Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake. Reserved seating will be available for immediate family in the first two rows, but otherwise seating is first come, first serve!
Following the ceremony, there will be beverages and desserts available to enjoy while we mingle and hear speeches from some members of the wedding party! The whole reception is meant to flow organically with no seating charts or much of an agenda, though there will be limited seating for those who may need it— reach out to Grace if you expect to need a chair! At 4:00pm, the activity center will turn into a dance floor until the send off around 6:15pm!
All long-term partners were either included on the invitation or were added as a plus-one on your virtual RSVP form— if there is no plus one option for you, feel free to reach out to see if there are other spots available for you to bring a date. Grace and Isaiah are trying to keep the event personal while still being accomodating!
If your children were invited they will be listed on your RSVP form!
Yes! There is plenty of free parking on site.
Yes! All the music will be screened and appropriate for all ages. We look forward to dancing with you!
No alcohol will be permitted at our reception (or on Church grounds) for a multitude of reasons— we ask that you respect how we have chosen to celebrate our day with our loved ones! We promise, it’ll be fun!
