Yes, it really does share a name with Kellie's mom! Multiple access points, trails, and campgrounds to get out in nature for a while!
A must-see in our area! This preserve is doing amazing things for big cats. We may schedule a group tour, so let Kellie know if that’s something you’d be interested in!
Cary is a fun spot if you are looking for amazing restaurants at a slower pace than downtown Raleigh. We recommend Di Fara pizza (they ship the water from NY to make their dough!), Bond Brothers Beer Company, and La Farm Bakery.
Fun shops and restaurants galore! This is a fun spot to walk around and window shop, or we recommend making a reservation at one of their delicious restaurants!
It's no secret that North Carolina is home to some big sports rivalries. Spend the day walking around UNC's beautiful campus or visiting the basketball museum. We made sure to schedule our wedding before March Madness really gets started!
DPAC has a lot to offer if you are a fan of theatre, musicals, and other shows. The area around the theatre has recently been revamped, and it is very fun to walk around, or try one of the many amazing restaurants that The Triangle has to offer!
Fayetteville Street and Glenwood Avenue are where you'll find most of the bars and restaurants in downtown. We love Whiskey Kitchen, Parkside, The Hibernian (It will be standing-room only on March 17th!), Carolina Ale House, and Raleigh Beer Garden! If you have a sweet tooth after having a few drinks, Bittersweet is a MUST.
A really fun museum for adults and kids! Learn about all of the nature that North Carolina has to offer.
A beautiful and unique property to visit. Shop, dine, and visit with their famous belted cows and other farm animals. We recommend reservations for dining and their day spa.
