Red Rocks hosts some of the best concerts you will ever see. The acoustics here are unreal!. And when it's not being used for concerts, you can find fitness-crazed Coloradans using it for morning workouts. If you want a one-of-a-kind experience here, we definitely recommend going to watch the sunrise at Red Rocks. It's incredible!
We highly recommend taking a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park during your time in Colorado. You can start in Boulder then land in charming Estes Park, which is where The Stanley Hotel is located, You may recognize this hotel from the movie, The Shining. They offer fun tours, so make sure to get in on one while you're there. Or if you're really brave, you can stay in rooms 217 or 428. These are known to be haunted...
This is one of Taylor's favorite places in Denver. Not only is it beautiful, but it is also just a 4 minute drive from Voodoo Doughnut and an 8 minute drive from D Bar Denver, which are both great places if you are looking for a sweet treat.
If you are looking for Mexican food with a Rocky Mountain twist, Hacienda Colorado is the place for you! There are multiple locations around the Denver metro area, but this one is closest to The Inverness Denver Hotel where we are staying. The margaritas are strong, so if you plan to dine here, maybe plan on taking an Uber!
Do yourself a favor and Google "Maroon Bells." If those images don't convince you to visit this place, we don't know what will! While you're in the area, hop on the Rio Grande bike trail that runs through Carbondale and stop at Woody Creek Tavern for a cold beverage and some shrimp ceviche!
Hanging Lake is a beautiful hike with a wonderful surprise at the top! The climb can be tricky at parts, but the view at the top is totally worth it. While you're in Glenwood, be sure to stop at Glenwood Hot Springs for a dip in the naturally heated giant pool.
