How we met

September 21, 2019

Alejandro and Victoria move to Utah on their own, just after graduating college, to pursue a career in the Financial Industry. They never saw or met each other, despite being in the same company for several years, until a mutual friend invited them to the same gathering one night. From the moment they met at the front door of that gathering, the laughter and conversations would unfold with ease as if they had known each other for many years. After hours of playful banter, Alejandro saw to it that Victoria got back home safely by being a complete gentleman, which Victoria admired even more so about him. Despite the hours of conversations, they never exchanged phone numbers, and only asked for each other's last names so that they had something unique to help find each other again. That night, they both quickly wrote down each other's name to make sure they didn't forget and thought that maybe, just maybe, they might run into each other at work, despite there being 3,000+ other employees. A couple days would pass, when Alejandro had found Victoria's full name in the company's directory and pinged her to ask her out on a date. Through persistence and his charm, she agreed to go on this date, which would be the beginning to all else that followed. As this was only months before CoVid, most of their relationship was hit with many trials and tribulations, along with the rest of the world. This proved time and time again that they were here to fight and stand side by side, no matter what life brings. As they take these next steps towards marriage, they are excited to see what their future will bring as husband and wife!

Our Engagement

November 21, 2021

Just over two years of dating, Alejandro knew he wanted to marry Victoria and spend the rest of his life with her. So with a little bit of planning, he decided to propose to Victoria at Matador Beach, California with her mom and sister there to witness this special moment. Leading up to the proposal, Alejandro and Victoria took pictures and spent time together along the ocean shore on a beautiful, breezy Sunday. As the sun set, so did the nerves set in for Alejandro. When the moment was right, he took Victoria by the hand, next to a nature-made rock arch, where the sun was setting just behind. Alejandro bent down on one knee and asked, "Victoria, you mean so much to me and am so happy to be here with you, will you marry me?" With excitement and pure joy, Victoria said, "YES!" This moment of bliss and excitement now leads us towards the day Alejandro and Victoria will say "I Do" with their closest family and friends to begin the next chapter of their lives as husband and wife!
