Welcome Event with Friends

Smart Casual: Dress comfortably and polished for a night in the Gaslamp District of San Diego!

The night before our wedding, we will gather at Coin Op Game Room, a barcade in the Gaslamp District to welcome our friends and celebrate the birthday of Jessica Edwards, one of our wedding party members. Please join us for an informal gathering of greetings, games, and drinks before the big day. Stay tuned for the location!

Our Wedding

Outdoor Formal: We invite you to dress elegantly for an outdoor celebration. Suits and midi / long dresses are encouraged and wedges, block heels, or flat shoes are recommended. Please consider sun protection for the day and a light shawl or jacket for the evening.

Guests are invited to arrive as early as 4:30 pm to park and find their seats. After a brief ceremony, we will host a cocktail hour and reception late into the night. There will be passed appetizers, a plated dinner, and an open bar and coffee service. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate young children at the reception. Bellaponte is an outdoor venue. Daytime temperatures range from mid-sixties to mid-eighties. In the evening, temperatures range from high-fifties to low-sixties. We are optimistic for sun, though June can be a cloudy month. Please plan your attire accordingly. The grounds at Bellaponte are brick and packed dirt. There will be a short walk uphill from the ceremony to the reception, with live music and dancing in the evening. Please plan your footwear accordingly. We will arrange shuttles to and from the Palihotel San Diego, as well as an on-site valet. The expectation is you will not drive if you plan to enjoy libations at the event.

Farewell Brunch with Family

Casual / Pool Party: We welcome you to come as you are and take a dip in the pool should you desire!

The morning after our wedding, we would like to invite family members to join us for a farewell brunch at Bellaponte. Feel free to bring your swimsuit and a towel to enjoy the pool. All children welcome!
