The wedding week is over two different holidays, so accommodation and transport can book up quickly. Airlines start selling flights about a year out, but you can book accommodation now. Elise can help with an itinerary if there's specific things you want to see/do.
Elise's mom, Julie Foster, is a travel agent and happy to help where she can. Ask Elise for contact info.

Yes! There are a few hotels listed on the 'Travel' page that the shuttle can drop off at at the end of the night.
Of course, please add a note in when you RSVP (there is a specific field for dietary requirements).
Yes. For those who are not taking the shuttles from Matamata, you can drive to the Shire's Rest (main entrance and parking lot area). There you will catch a shuttle into the film set to the ceremony.
There will be a bus from the i-SITE in Matamata (45 Broadway, Matamata 3400) to the ceremony venue. After the wedding, the bus can take people back to specific accommodations in Matamata (check 'Travel' tab for included hotels).
Check the 'Event' page for week-of activities we have planned. Anything on that page is open for anyone to attend or not, just RSVP to whom and when it specifies. Other events might have specific RSVPs sent out later.
Please contact Chris or Elise. We promise we won't bite.
