Rehearsal Dinner BBQ Potluck

Attire: Summery Lake Clothes!

Bring a plate to share and we will have a good ole' Kiwi BBQ by the lake. It's not far outside Rotorua, so no crazy travel involved. Anyone is welcome to attend. It is a good chance for the family and friends to meet prior to the wedding. You’re welcome to ask what to bring or just grab what you like. We will send info closer to the date.

Attire: Cocktail / Semi-Formal suitable for summer heat and grass-friendly footwear. No Jeans. No white dresses. No costumes please.

We wanted to give our friends and family a wonderful experience for helping us celebrate our wedding. We have booked out Hobbiton™ (the Shire filming location from Lord of the Rings). There will be a ceremony and reception to follow, with a provided buffet dinner (please check 'Menu' tab for food details. Because of contractual obligations with several movie studios, each person MUST attend a guided tour of the set. It would be incredibly helpful if our guests could pay for their movie set tour, but absolutely no obligation. We want everyone to feel welcome to attend. However, if you are able and would like to cover the cost of your own guided tour, please do so when you RSVP. It is $89 NZD / $55 USD per person (bank details in 'Registry' tab, children 8 and under tour for free). We are so grateful and we can't wait to celebrate with you! Thank you.
