From across a crowded church, it didn't take long for Angel and Valerie to become smitten. In the months following, they shared laughs at small group and outreach, game nights with friends and every opportunity to get to know one another. It was when Valerie surprised Angel with a Christmas tree, that they both knew it might be more. Angel and Valerie became more, and in February, they celebrated 2 years of being each other's person. The rest is history!

It was Christmas morning and Angel had one last gift for Valerie. Christmas is her favorite holiday. In their pajamas, with her family opening gifts, his excitement was growing with each tear of wrapping paper. He had rehearsed what he planned to say, but the moment he saw her face light up as he pulled the rose gold engagement ring from his pocket, all words escaped him. His heart skipped a beat as the biggest smile he had ever seen spread across her face. Getting down on one knee, he professed his love to Valerie. "Will you marry me?" As tears began flooding her eyes, she wrapped herself around him, "YES!" He slipped the ring on her finger as the entire room erupted into tears of joy. The beauty of her ring left Valerie speechless, it was everything that she had wished for!
