Darin met Ursula in 2015, since then they have shared the ups & downs of their lives together, traveling abroad to re-visit their roots, hiking afar, becoming familiar with golf greens, & experiencing the beauty of nature are just some of the memories they have created together. "We know there is nothing more wonderful then being with someone who loves & cares for you." As a couple they have overcome mountains literally & figuratively, hiking up the highest mountain in the lower 48 states, & supporting each other through challenges in work, health, & home. "No matter how marvelous or mundane events in our life may be they are all special memories to us." They each have one son; Darin's son is Logan and Ursula's son is Xavier. "Raising our children is another mountain we are climbing together. Our children are an integral part of our life and happiness." "Not only do we share a love for each other & our children, we share a mutual love for nature & experiencing the raw beauty of the world. We go hiking wherever we travel." In May 2018 they took a trip out west to go hiking. The first destination was Utah to hike to Angel's Landing, a climb of about 1500 ft straight up, to an elevation of 5,790 ft. Darin said "I had to help her through quite a bit of it because it was very steep & narrow & she's afraid of heights; there's nothing to protect you from the edge, just a chain to hold on to so you don't fall." Ursula added "I love hiking but I never liked to hike very high up, he always holds my hand through those parts." At the top of Angel's landing Darin proposed! "Now we want to share our happiness with others & take the next step to join our lives into one. We would like to share our love for each other & all living things with all the wonderful people who have blessed our lives."For this reason we have planned to celebrate our union at a picturesque farm which showcases Wisconsin's beauty, with an elegant, eco-friendly wedding.
