What time should most guest arrive at the venue for the wedding ceremony?

Please arrive between 3:30 and 3:45. The ceremony will begin at 4pm. Note: For those in the wedding party we will communicate any arrival details separately.

Our ceremony will be outside with a beautiful view of the mountains. There is also a nearby 100 year old stone building where we will have our reception.

Answer

The dress for our wedding can probably best be described as elegant but not formal. Ladies may want to consider wearing a skirt or a dress, and guys, you might consider slacks and a nice shirt.

Please see the TRAVEL page on our site for nearby local hotels and important local addresses. You may also want to consider renting a house through VRBO or Air B&B. Some other family members.have chosen this option.

I want to share the pictures I plan to take with other guests. Or, I want to see the pictures other guests take. What's the best way to do that?

Answer

We are using a photo sharing app called THE GUEST. The app allows you to easily and quickly share photos with other guests and to download their photos. The best part is that it protects your privacy and only other guests will have access to the photos you share to the app. Also, while we are confident that our photographer will capture some beautiful photos, we also know that we might miss out on some of the best candid moments. Your photos will help us to remember those moments too. See the PHOTOS page for details on how to join in on the fun and instructions for using the app.

What will Wendy and Ty's schedule look like leading up to the wedding?

Answer

We plan to take off work beginning on Thursday prior to our wedding. Although we will probably have quite a few loose ends to tie up, we are also hoping to spend lots of time with guests from out of town.

When do we plan to leave on our honeymoon?

We will fly out early in the morning on Thursday, September 2.

I have a few days in Colorado Springs either before or after the wedding. What are some fun things to do?

How did Ty and Wendy meet?

The short answer is that we met at work. Before that though, we were strangers out there in the world who passed each other for years (literally). Then we became acquaintances and co-workers (9 years ago). Then finally the time was right, and we worked on a project together. It didn't take long until we became friends. Love quickly grew from there.
