We are so excited to celebrate with you

We met the old fashioned-way... we met at a bar called Weekends in Alamosa, CO. We technically had a class together but we never talked (however Jennie always noticed him sitting in the front row). As the baseball and softball teams got closer and were hanging out more, we became really good friends. We talked about failed relationships, our high school glory days, our family back home, and whatever else might come up. There were nights we talked until the sun would rise. People in college thought we were dating but we were just good friends. Fast forward to the beginning of Jennie's senior year, after keeping in contact all summer, the friendship turned to something more and we haven't looked back since.

We took a last minute trip to Long Beach, WA for the Fourth of July. Trevor's parents had just driven in to town from AZ to spend a month with their kids. We got a last minute hotel room and headed up there to meet up with Jennie's parents. Trevor was planning to ask at some point while his parents were in town, he just didn't know when. The day of the fourth he realized he needed to ask Jennie's dad and devised a plan to get him alone. After taking a jeep ride with him and getting his permission he planned to do it that evening under the fireworks. He kept dropping subtle hints throughout the day but no one seemed to catch on. That night while they were all on the beach watching an epic display of fireworks, Jennie asked to take a selfie with the fireworks in the background... the rest is history that was caught on film by the parents.

We are having the wedding at Jennie's family farm. Since she was a little girl she dreamed of getting married out in the field there. Trevor thought of proposing there but plans changed so now they get to make her dream come true by throwing a beautiful, rustic wedding at the place she grew up. The farm has a lot of history/meaning for her family and they can't wait to share it with all of you.
