What is the dress code?

Answer

City Formal. We suggest midi to floor length dresses, suits (ties are optional), or something equivalent. Ask a member of the bridal party if you’re unsure!

Is there parking/transportation provided?

Answer

We will provide multiple shuttles to and from the Hyatt Wicker Park and Artifact Events (ceremony & reception venue). LOTS of free street parking near the venue. For the architectural boat tour and welcome party, we encourage public transportation. You can use the El Blue line or one of the many CTA buses. We recommend using the Transit Stop app for timing.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Kiddos are welcome at any of the Friday or Saturday events. For our ceremony and celebration, please celebrate with us kid-free!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Invitations will have the names of the individuals welcome at our wedding. Reach out to Kristin or Trevor if you're unsure.

Are the event(s) indoors/outdoors?

Answer

Boat tour & welcome drinks are scheduled to be outside. We will figure out an inside option if it rains. Ceremony is scheduled to be outside (with weather contingencies), but the reception will be indoors.
