Why are you having celebrations on two separate days?

Answer

We wanted a small wedding in the woods. Something intimate, rustic and laid back. So we are having immediate family only the day we get married. We also wanted to celebrate with all of our family and friends that were not included in the ceremony. So we decided to have a BBQ reception. Nothing fancy, just fun, food, games and great company. Our Reception is a week after we get married. It will be held at our house in Moorhead. Come when you can, stay as long as you want, and wear what ever you would like!!

Why am I not invited to the wedding day?

Answer

We really would love to celebrate with everyone. That is why we are having a reception the following weekend. If you are not invited to the wedding, please know you are still very important to us. We have decided to have a small weekend celebration in the woods and are inviting a limited number of people. We also bought a house last year and are very excited to utilize it with a fabulous get together, and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to do so!

What if I just show up the day of the wedding?

Answer

Please be respectful and do not do that. We have chosen to celebrate this way for specific reasons and would like as little hiccups day of as possible. Thank you for your understanding and If you have further questions, please reach out.

What food will be served at the reception Oct 3rd?

Answer

We will be serving hotdogs, hamburgers, pasta salad, a variety of chips, fruit and veggies and more. There will be a variety of non-Alcoholic beverages and limited seltzers and beer.

Do I need to bring anything for the Reception on Oct 3rd?

Answer

If you have a favorite lawn chair you can bring that, however, we will have extras for guests. There will be a limited number of alcoholic drinks and we are happy to share, if you have a preferred drink please BYOB. Bring a sweater incase it gets cold. Don't forget your recipe card!! If you did not receive a recipe card, please bring your favorite recipe to share with the bride and groom (there will be extra cards available if you have more than one favorite)!

Where is the reception on Oct 3rd?

Answer

The reception is being held at the Bride and Grooms house. It is a cute little one level two bedroom, two bath house. It is a blue house on the corner with a white fence. The festivities will be held mostly outdoors and in the garage. We have tents we will put up for shade and yard games will be provided! Our address is 1021 13th St. N., Moorhead MN 56560

I live out of town, Can I spend the night Oct 3rd?

Answer

Yes you can. We have limited space in our home which is mostly spoken for, but please reach out. There are a lot of hotels in the area. I have linked a few good ones in the travel section. There are also a number of Verbo's available.
