YES! The wedding venues sits at an altitude of 8,948 ft, did we mention it is on top of a mountain? If possible, try to arrive a day or two early to acclimate, especially if this is your first time at high altitude. Be sure to drink a TON of water to avoid getting sick. And please keep in mind the effects of alcohol are much stronger at the higher altitude!
There is parking available at the venue should you choose to drive, however it is very limited. We encourage guests to carpool to ensure there are enough spaces for all the guests. Please keep in mind that the winding mountain roads can be very dark at night, and there is no cellular reception near our venue. We have arranged a shuttle service and encourage guests to take advantage if possible. Please visit our Travel Page and learn how to RSVP for the shuttle. Also, please note that Uber and Lyft services are not available in the mountains.
There are two ways to the venue and both routes do take you on a dirt road. The shortest and most direct way has absolutely stunning views but it also has a considerate amount of switchbacks. The second way to the venue is longer, and it goes through Evergreen. Please make sure you have pulled up your directions before you leave the venue as the cellphone reception can be difficult to get. Please be aware that weekend mountain traffic can start early in the day, so make sure to plan accordingly.
We request that you wear cocktail attire. Please note, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside weather permitting, so we recommend bringing something warm.
