It all started almost two years ago, Dan and Tiffany have a mutual friend who invited them both out to a hockey game one night without any intention of setting them up. WELL, Tiffany was still in her "wild" times and didn't notice Dan was into her... So they chatted but went their separate ways that night. December rolls around and Tiffany is out drinking bottomless mimosas with some friends (same group), watching Pats Vs Steelers game and playing "what do you meme". Well, DAN was also invited, again by the same mutual friend. They started chatting and hit it off, Tiffany decided to ask Dan about horoscopes etc. At the end of the night, after drilling him with questions and flirting a ton from across the table, she slipped him a business card and on the back asked him if he would like to see if a Pisces and a Cancer are compatible, and wrote her number down. He walked her out, they smooched and went on their first date that week. Tiffany wasn't the easiest person to date at first, but Dan was in it for the long haul, no matter how long he had to wait. Tiff and Dan were visiting the Goodwin's in NH. Tiff kind of suspected something was going on because Robin and Dan kept having secret meetings. They had plans that night to go to dinner with one of Tiff's old friends at the Common Man Restaurant. Right before going into the restaurant, Dan took her to the front, got down on one knee and all Tiff's remembers is "I can't do forever without you, will you marry me", Tiff then also got down on a knee and cried, she said YES (obviously). They had the BEST dinner with their friends, who also got recently engaged and are cooler than cool. It was great.

Did you know it was going to happen? I mean doesn't everyone pick up a vibe right before? There was a weird silence/awkwardness between us right before it happened and in my mind I remember thinking "Oh man, this is it". Dan also didn't take off his jacket when we were visiting my brother, and it was 100 degrees in there. Even if I had an idea, it was still perfect and I was still the most excited. Was Dan nervous? "Just a tad bit"- Dan ** one side note** I was so caught up in having our engagement video'd or photographed/staged but I am so happy that it happened just Dan and I (not to put down people who do this). Social media these days makes you feel like you have to have extravagant proposals/engagements/weddings etc but it just needs to be extravagant to DAN AND TIFF. Not the rest of the world, this is more of a gentle reminder to me but if anyone else feels pressure from the social media aspect, just be true to the love you and your partner have, thats what this is really about.
