Megan and Ryan first met in College while taking a study abroad trip to New Zealand. It has been said that when Ryan first laid eyes on Megan, he made mention to his friends that she was going to be the one. They boarded the first plane which was Megans first flight ever, and Ryan bought her a drink. This lead to them talking and getting to know each other. They decided to change the seats around on the connecting flights so they could continue to get to know one another for the remaining 16 hours. They spent an amazing two weeks getting to know each other while exploring New Zealand. Once they returned to the states, Ryan asked her on their first official date and it has been "True Love" ever since.

Ryan and Megan had just made the big move from Richmond, VA to Delaware when Ryan accepted a position with Rain & Hail Crop Insurance. They had a cruise planned with their close friends Stephanie and Zach two weeks after the big move. The couples traveled to Miami to board the ship, with the guys as the only ones aware of what was to come. It was on the second night we all dressed up in our formal attire to attend the Captains Dinner. The whole night Ryan was saying how he was feeling sick from the rough seas, but it later came to light it was just his nerves. After dinner, we all went to the front of the boat where we were looking out into the open water. Megan turned around to Ryan down on one knee and he asked her to be his forever by becoming his wife. She gladly accepted and said YES to starting the next adventure of their lives together!
