In December 2018, we both downloaded Tinder because our friends told us to. Christopher was my first match and he asked me to grab lunch with him the next day. I was nervous, but something told me to say yes! We ate at Hana's in Downtown Natchitoches and then went play with his dog, Suzie. We hung out again that night and went look at the Christmas lights on the River. I also met his parents that night and fell in love with them. He met my family two weeks later. We've been together since that day and it's been an amazing journey. 31.7625 N 93.0861 W
Christopher and I talked about marriage very early on, we both knew that we were soulmates. In March of 2021, we went to the Boardwalk in Bossier City and stumbled upon a Kay Jewelers. We decided to go browse and get sized for rings. We looked at a few different rings and then I found one that I absolutely fell in love with. It was the only one in the store that fit me even though it was supposedly a size and a half smaller than what I wear. We took a picture of it and left to finish our shopping. I thought about that ring every. single. day. I could not get over how unique, dainty, and beautiful it was. Christopher must've noticed how much I loved that ring because he bought it. We went to Hawaii in July with my family and he joined us. As we were taking family pictures at sunset on the beach, he proposed. He was nervous and it went nothing like he planned, but it was absolutely perfect. I think I said "oh my gosh" a million times because I couldn't believe that 1. he was actually proposing and 2. he bought the ring that I fell in love with.
