We will be competing with Halloween in one of the spookiest cities in the country, so buckle up. The weekend's festivities will likely mean Uber/Lyft/taxi will be in demand, so we recommend staying closer to the core downtown/river so you may walk around more easily than traveling by car. Also, you are allowed to drink outside up to Jones Street which includes the Railroad Museum to the Savannah River. Just make sure you put your drink in a to-go cup.
For the wedding event Friday evening, we are very flexible. Gentlemen, anything from nice pants and a button up all the way to black tie attire are welcome. Ladies, also flexible but we recommend avoiding long ballgowns or sharp-heeled shoes as the event includes outdoor portions which may be soft and grassy. The rest of the weekend truly is open to your preference. Late October in Savannah can be either chilly or warm so keep checking as you start packing for the event. Also, Savannah is an extremely walkable city so we recommend having comfortable shoes. Since it's Halloween weekend, there will be plenty of folks around the city wearing costumes. If you choose to partake, you will not be out of place. However, please save costumes for time outside of the wedding celebration Friday evening.
