When Can I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP as soon as you receive your invite! Please RSVP by June 15th, 2026!

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive no later than 30 minutes before the ceremony (1:00pm) and please be seated in the Church no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony (1:15pm).

What Is The Dress Code?

Answer

We ask that attendees wear formal wedding attire. Think pretty dresses and suits! The bride kindly asks that she be the only one in white :) For shoes, please keep in mind that the reception will have lots of dancing!

What Are Your Wedding Colors/Colors to Shy Away From Wearing?

Our wedding colors, much like this website, are sky blue and lemon sorbet (light) yellow! Please try to shy away from these colors when choosing your attire! Thank you!

Does The Ceremony Have Assigned Seats?

Answer

Friends and family of the bride and groom are asked to sit in the front section of the Church, whichever side they would like, while students of the bride are asked to sit in the back section of the Church.

Is The Wedding Ceremony A Full Mass?

Answer

Yes, the Wedding Ceremony is a full Mass so please expect to be at the Church for about an hour. If you do not wish to receive Communion, please feel free to stay in your seat or go up with your hands crossed over your chest so the Priest can give you a blessing.

Can I Take Photos During The Ceremony?

We ask that you be fully present during our ceremony! As much as the bride loves pictures, we will have a professional photographer and videographer who will be capturing every moment of our special day! Please feel free to take all the photo's you'd like after the ceremony and at the reception! The bride and groom will share all the professional photos after the wedding!

Do I have a +1/Are Kids Welcome?

Please check the names on your invitation! All names invited will be written on your invitation envelope or noted as "guest". Thank you for understanding that we can only accommodate a certain number of people.

What Is Parking Like?

Answer

Both our Wedding Venue, St. Mary's Church, and our Reception Venue, The Canoe Club Ballroom, have large parking lots for parking.

What If It Rains?

Answer

No worries! Our Wedding Ceremony as well as our Wedding Reception are both inside! The wedding will be exactly the same rain or shine!

When Can I See The Bride And Groom?

Answer

We cannot wait to see you! We hope to see you at the welcome party on the Friday before the big day. After our Wedding Ceremony, we will be going back into the Church to quickly take some pictures with our immediate family as well as a "BSS Students" picture. St. Mary's has Saturday afternoon Confessions at 2:45pm, so, out of respect for people coming into the Church for Confession, we do ask that you wait until we arrive at the Canoe Club Ballroom for our reception starting at 4:00pm to say hello. We hope to see you at the welcome party on the Friday before the big day and at the Canoe Club Ballroom for our reception!

Is There A Wedding Registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the biggest present of them all! If you do feel so inclined, we have set up a registry to help us start our life as a married couple together.

Absolutely! Please note any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP.

When Will The Reception Begin?

The reception will begin at 4:00pm at the Canoe Club Ballroom with a cocktail hour until 5:00pm.

Is The Wedding Ceremony And The Wedding Reception Accessible?

Yes! Both venues are accessible for anyone coming to the wedding using any accessibility aides.

Will The DJ Accept Song Requests?

Answer

The DJ will not accept any song requests during the wedding reception but if you would like to request any songs feel free to reach out to the bride and groom!

When Does The Reception End?

Answer

The reception ends at 10:00pm. If you are able, we'd love for you to join us for a very special send off at the end of the night!
