Canmore is about a 20 minute drive from Banff and has plenty of hotel options! There are shuttles between the two cities if you are not renting a car.

Flight

Calgary International Airport

Banff is about a 1.5 hour drive from the Calgary Airport. If you plan to do some traveling to hikes/other areas of the park, we recommend renting a car. However, there is also a shuttle service directly from the airport to downtown Banff hotels. https://banffairporter.com/. You can also use Turo to rent a car locally in Banff for a day or two!

Hotels

There are many hotels in downtown Banff that are walking distance from the reception venue. Anywhere along Banff Ave is a great option! The neighboring city of Canmore is also a great option for more hotels, but please note cabs may be pricey from there to Banff. Feel free to reach out to the brides if you have questions or need a different recommendation! Also please note most prices listed will be in CAD rather than USD.
