Jake and Lani met while she was working at the Stuart Place Country Club. Jake had gone inside after closing to return the keys for the golf cart to the bar area where Lani was. That shift was tiresome for her, so she told Jake to leave the keys in the cart because she didn't want to fuss with them as she was getting ready to leave for the day. However, little did Lani know, she peaked Jakes interest that evening. He reached out to her on Instagram and asked her if she would like to go on a date with him, and she agreed to do so. They decided to pick up dinner from Cheddars and watch Stranger Things at Jakes house. After that night, they both felt something they have never felt before with anyone else and that's when Jake knew that he made the best decision of his life. They continued to hang out and spent time getting to know each other, their friends and family members. It felt so easy for them to be in this relationship.
