Where do I park?

Answer

Church of the Advent (ceremony) does not have a parking lot. There is street parking surrounding the church, as well as a pay lot next to Walnut Hills Library, which is a 5-minute walk from the church. Please plan to arrive 15-30 minutes early to allow time to find a spot. The Ventura (reception) has a parking lot with ample space. If you're staying at the Marriott, you're welcome to park at the hotel and use their shuttle service to and from the reception.

Do I get a +1?

Please refer to your RSVP. Between our big, German Catholic families and many long-time friends, the guest list is tight! Thank you for understanding.

What should I wear?

Answer

We invite guests to dress in casual cocktail attire. For men, this could include dress pants with a button-down shirt and tie (jackets optional). For women, dresses, jumpsuits, or other polished outfits are perfect. For those unfamiliar with our ~exotic Ohio climate~ please know Cincinnati in July will be hot and humid. Think dressy, but comfortable - lightweight fabrics are your friend.

What's the drinks/bar situation?

Beer, wine, and soda are on us at the reception. Liquor and seltzers will be available for purchase.

Appetizers will be served during cocktail hour. Dinner will be a buffet pasta bar with salad and garlic bread.

Are my kids invited?

Answer

Unless we've personally extended an invitation to your children, we’re envisioning an adults-only celebration. We'd love for you to enjoy an evening just for yourself and look forward to celebrating with you! <3
