FAQs

The Wedding Website of Tiffany Billings and Tyler Keaney
Frequently Asked Questions:
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is yacht club formal/beach formal. Linens, seersucker, blues, florals and stripes are some examples. Ladies, as requested by The Carolina Girl Yacht, NO HEELS PLEASE (you're welcome). Sandals and wedges are allowed. You will be walking down a long dock to board the yacht and the boat has many decks. Safety first! Feel free to bring your favorite pair of sunglasses. We love sunglasses on the dance floor...

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend staying in downtown Charleston so you can sightsee while you are visiting and make the most of your trip. Our yacht venue is less than a 20 minute ride from downtown. Some of my favorite hotel options are the Hyatt Place Charleston Historic District, Church Street Inn, Courtyard Charleston Historic District and The Francis Marion Hotel. If you’d like something a little more quiet but still close to downtown, The Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina is the perfect spot (this is where we are staying!). Airbnbs are also a great option to share with family or friends!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Our goal is to purchase our first home together. We have a first home down payment fund linked to this website, under registry. Monetary gifts are never expected, but we would be so incredibly grateful if you wish to contribute.

Question

What time should I arrive at the marina?

Answer

Guests are welcome to begin boarding the yacht 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE. If you are late, you will miss the entire party as the boat will leave the dock at 6pm sharp. Plan to arrive to the marina early.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is limited at St. John's Yacht Harbor as it is a public marina. Ride shares/cabs are recommended!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Because this is a boat venue, space is incredibly limited. Your invitation is specifically for the number of people listed. We are so sorry that we cannot accommodate plus ones due to space.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

March 22nd please!
