We first met on campus at Oakland University. We fell for each other at first sight and quickly became an item afterward. After three and a half years together, Nick proposed over the beautiful Snoqualmie Falls while we were on a trip to Washington. We both now work for the same school and live in Royal Oak. We have one child at home, our cat Orson Welles! Our love can be summed up in the way we value each other, not only as romantic partners but as best friends.
