Nicole & Jacob

Our story, for many, has seemed like it has been in the making for forever but it has only been five years.

We didn't talk to each other for the first year because Nicole thought Jacob hated her. The following year our families became friends and that is when the jokes of us dating started (Nicole was not happy about this). At this point we were considered friends in Nicole's book.

As we moved to Phoenix, within a matter of weeks of each other, we soon quickly realized that we had no other friends and began to hang out and go to mass together (at least that's all that Nicole thought of it). We both had to move home because of COVID and that's when it all changed for us.

We began to date that summer and did long distance for the whole school year thanks to the help of some of our friends sneaking Jacob onto campus.

At the end of 2021, by everyone's surprise, Jacob kept the secret and surprised everyone with his proposal to Nicole.
