Just a few hours after Ben arrived in Texas, I walked into work like any normal work day. Except it wasn't just another day, I met Ben. He was in the conference room ready to kick the week off and I was the first person he met in the Austin office after transferring from Kentucky. After introductions life went on for about three months with friendly office chat. One Monday after a long day of training I received a call from a Kentucky phone number, it was Ben. He was calling to say hello and conversation led to a decision that we should meet for dinner. I invited him to Georgetown square, a small town near where we both lived at the time. After walking around for a few minutes he suggested pizza of course. If you know Ben, we ended up watching a playoff basketball game. The game ended and our date ended with talk of golf next. Y'all I went to Academy and bought golf clubs the next day! Soon we were hitting at the range, playing putt putt and introducing him to Tex-Mex. Each date seemed to last longer than the last and we didn't depart without planning the next. Summer Lake days turned into Fall Texas Football games and then family introductions around the Holidays. The rest is history and we hope you join us in celebrating our union of marriage!
