Are kids welcome?

Although we love kids, especially yours, our event will be adults only!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP under the RSVP tab no later than October 1st.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!

Where is the ceremony/reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Dewberry. Please look for signage to take you around the back of the hotel to the courtyard on the ground level of The Dewberry.

What time should we be there?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm on December 7th, 2019. We kindly ask guests to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to grab a glass of bubbly and start mingling.

Is there a dress code?

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a room block at the Embassy Suites by Hilton. Please check our travel and accommodations page for more information.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels for the ceremony?

Answer

The hotel room block is walking distance to the wedding venue. If you are staying in an AirBnB or a hotel further away from The Dewberry, we suggest using Uber or Lyft. They are readily available throughout Charleston.

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

We will be having an UNPLUGGED ceremony and ask that you do not take photos or videos during it. We have paid for a professional photographer and videographer to capture all of the moments for us and do not want them to be impeded in any way. During the cocktail hour and reception please feel free to snap photos and add them to social media with the #CheersToTheDans !

Prior to the wedding we are happy to answer any questions for you! Please e-mail us at TheDansWedding143@gmail.com ! If your need us on our wedding day or the week leading up to the wedding weekend, please consult this carefully planned and crafted wedding website to address any of your logistical concerns. If a wedding related emergency should arise, please contact the maid of honor or best man. They will know the ins and outs of our wedding and can help you as needed.
