After spending 21 hours in the car together AND driving through Kansas, we surprisingly still liked each other. On our third day in Colorado we ventured out for some hiking. We did a short hike through Garden of the Gods before heading off to Seven Falls. We walked the long road through a beautiful canyon leading to the falls and the 224 steps that went straight up the side of a mountain. Both scared of heights and out of shape we made it to the top of the falls with shaky legs. This is a beautiful place! We enjoyed the scenery and a short hike to some smaller falls before trekking back down this huge mountain, the whole time both of us were panicking over the height. Finally on the way back through the canyon Brycon suggested we set up the tripod and take a quick pic. And that’s when he popped the question! After the steps and the hike, this was a huge surprise and I think I almost died. After he asked I had to sit down on the curb because I thought my legs were going to give out on me but I think it’s a moment we will never forget!
