Wedding Party

It takes a village—and this is ours. From lifelong friends to chosen family, each of these people has played a meaningful role in our journey. We couldn’t imagine this day without them by our side.

Yonne Menezes

Matron of Honor

Yonne and Isabel met in May 2021 over a boozy brunch at Founding Farmers in Reston Town Center, when Yonne and her now-fiancé joined along—who also happens to be Kyle’s best friend from college and her future husband in September 2026. They hit it off almost immediately. What started as simply being “the girlfriends” quickly turned into a friendship of their own—one built on laughter, support, and shared life moments. Over the years, that bond has only grown stronger, and now Isabel proudly holds the title of “Auntie Bells” to Yonne and Nico’s adorable golden retriever, Leo. Yonne’s friendship has been a constant, making her the perfect Matron of Honor and Brazilian sister.

Jackie McAfee

Matron of Honor

Jackie and Isabel met in September 2024 when they both started at Snappy—on the exact same day (it was basically fate). They instantly connected and quickly became close friends (both lived in VA when they met). As they navigated big life changes together, their bond only grew stronger—Isabel moving to New York City and getting engaged to Kyle, and Jackie marrying her husband Devin and moving to Wyoming with their adorable corgi, BaoBao. Through long-distance “pen pal” check-ins, constant encouragement, and matching energy, their friendship flourished. With a baby on the way in June 2026, Jackie has been by Isabel’s side through it all, making her the perfect Matron of Honor.

Meghan Bruton

Bridesmaid

Isabel and Meghan met in Spring 2024 thanks to Bumble BFF, proving that adult friendships really do happen. Their first hang was a walk on the W&OD Trail followed by a post-walk beer—and what started casually quickly turned into deep conversations, game nights, and a genuine connection. As life got busier (and long-distance entered the chat), they made it a point to schedule weekly phone catch-ups—checking in, laughing, and supporting each other through it all. Meghan welcomed Isabel into her close circle of friends and even invited her to her own wedding later that year (cheers to the Brutons!). She also made the trip to visit Isabel and Kyle in their new Brooklyn apartment last summer—making memories that cemented their bond even more. Since then, they’ve shared so many big milestones—Isabel’s move to NYC and engagement to Kyle, and now Meghan and her husband James expecting their first baby. Meghan’s friendship, consistency, and warmth make her such a meaningful part of Isabel’s life and bridal party.

Daisy Oxlaj

Bridesmaid

Isabel and Daisy met in the summer of 2019, when Isabel had just returned from BYU and jumped straight into server life at Baker Crust to hustle and make fast money. They quickly connected over long shifts, lots of laughs, and plenty of Caesar salads with fries. Some of their closest moments came during COVID, when everything slowed down and friendships mattered even more. Daisy knew Isabel before she met Kyle—and Isabel knew Daisy before she met her now-fiancé, Juan (congrats!!). Even after their Baker Crust days ended, life had a funny way of bringing them back together—this time working side-by-side again at Empower Chiropractic, bonding over patients, office drama, and plenty of laughs. Through all the ups and downs that come before finding “the one,” Daisy was a constant source of support, honesty, and humor—making her an incredibly special part of Isabel’s journey and bridal party.

Rachel Cuevas

Bridesmaid

Isabel and her sister Rachel go way back—back to playing Barbies and putting on pretend concerts around the house. Growing up together, they shared countless memories that laid the foundation for a lifelong bond. As the next child after Isabel, Rachel has always been someone Isabel feels incredibly proud of—especially now, getting to watch her grow, graduate college, and step confidently into her next chapter. No matter where life takes them, the two have always stayed close, spending hours on FaceTime catching up, laughing, and talking through everything. Isabel especially loves how well Rachel and Kyle get along, making their bond even more special. Rachel’s presence, love, and support mean the world to Isabel, and it’s an honor to have her by her side on such an important day.

Laura Cuevas

Bridesmaid

Isabel and her sister Laura have grown even closer over the years, especially as Laura has stepped into adulthood and begun carving out her own path. What started as a sibling bond has evolved into a genuine friendship—one filled with shared laughs, deeper conversations, and meaningful moments together. Most recently, Laura and Rachel visited Isabel and Kyle in New York City for New Year’s Eve, and it was an unforgettable weekend full of fun, memories, and quality sister time. Isabel cherishes watching Laura grow into herself and feels so lucky to have her by her side—making it incredibly special to celebrate this next chapter together.

Lauren Chang

Bridesmaid

Isabel and Lauren’s story starts at the very beginning—because Lauren was the one who encouraged Kyle to offer Isabel a tater tot and go say hi. Since then, Isabel and Lauren have shared countless memories together—from family vacations and quality sister time to everyday moments that turned into lifelong bonds. Lauren (and her boyfriend Jakob!) were also kind enough to open their home and let Isabel and Kyle live in their townhouse for a few months before their move to New York—making that chapter even more special. With her big heart, endless support, and two lovable pups Billy and Mabel always nearby, Lauren is truly family in every sense and such a meaningful part of the bridal party.
