Our story began at Duke University in Durham North Carolina. We were both on the executive board for the Students of the Caribbean association and already saw each other once a week. The more we talked to each other, the more we realized we had in common. From the shows we watched to the values we held from our life experiences. Being together was easy, fun, and exciting. Spring break rolled around and we decided to take a walk through the Duke Gardens which during the spring time is stunning (minus the hoard of random silk worms dangling from the trees) and we found out we both lived in Jersey!
