The date is a Palindrome, we like the date, and it just happened to be on a Thursday.
It's going to be a night on the town (after the reception of course). We hope you dress to impress. This isn't a black tie or anything, less upscale. But come on, it's a wedding, don't wear jeans and a t-shirt.
Let us know on your RSVP please, this way we can try to accommodate.
We have a few suggestions and links to hotels. We have TWO room blocks- please contact Meagen if you wish to inquire further. For other links to hotels/Air bnbs please see the destination page for hotel accommodation.
The doors open at 5ish pm to let you in, the ceremony starts at 5:30pm. Be there before 5:30pm and you should be good.
The venue is in a neighborhood, there will be street parking- but nothing more.
We suggest Uber, Lyft, and the Trolley system- the Rampart/Saint Claude Streetcar Line is the best to use to get to our venue!
We plan on arriving the 18th. We want time to settle in and be with each other. We have no activities planned prior to the wedding. Should guests arrive earlier in the week, please refer to our 'things to do' page, where we give some recommendations.
We have 2 registry options... One on the Zola.com website, and an Amazon registry. While we appreciate the gift and thoughts for this, it isn't necessary. We are asking for people to travel and spend money to get to New Orleans, and stay for a time. That is more than enough. If you choose to get us a gift, please do not bring it to NOLA with you, we don't want to try to pack it back with us to Oregon.
Friends, we love your kiddos, yes they are accounted for in our count. Should you choose to travel with them cross country to NOLA, we welcome them. Please let us know so we count them in our food counts!
