Santa Barbara Airport, Burbank Airport, or LAX

For those flying to town, we recommend flying into Santa Barbara Airport - which is the closest airport to Carpinteria (about 25 minutes from Carpinteria). Otherwise, we recommend flying into LAX or Burbank Airport and renting a car. The drive from Burbank or LAX to Carpinteria/Santa Barbara is 1.5-2 hours (or more), depending on traffic.

If you're flying to Hollywood Burbank Airport, there is an Amtrak train directly from the airport to Carpinteria.

Built by Charlie Chaplin in 1928, The Montecito Inn is the highest rated of the three and a charming option for those who want to stay in Montecito, home to Oprah and other celebs. Many restaurants and shops are a walking distance away. Montecito, which sits between Santa Barbara and Carpinteria, is a roughly 13 minute drive from the farm.
