Initially, Rob and Matt didn't get a long, but in a cruel twist of irony, they're now best friends. Matt and Rob met on in college summer league baseball. After both choosing to retire from the great sport of baseball, they began to play Call of Duty on XBox live and ultimately developed a profound friendship. Matt and his wife, Jaclyn, live in Seattle but Rob and Teresa have made a habit of spending Labor Day Weekend with Matt and Jaclyn at the Gorge. Matt was present when Rob proposed to Teresa.

Alexis is Teresa's big little sister, partner in crime, best supporter of all things travel, foodie partner, wine connoisseur and sports fan of everything Chicago. Alexis has always been a role model for Teresa with her hard work developing underserved communities in Chicago and Boulder with the parks department. Growing up, Teresa always insisted that Alexis be her best friend, and here we are--best friends til the end! As our Maid of Honor, we are honored to have Alexis by our side on our wedding day!
AJ Lubecker

AJ has been dating Rob's sister Annie for more than half a decade and Rob considers him to be a de facto brother in law. While Annie and AJ live in California, AJ and Rob have bonded over the years over their shared love of stand up comedy, hockey, and Phil Mickelson. Before you ask, yes, AJ is a professional comedian. He is indeed paid money to tell jokes. No, he will not "give you a couple" . . . unless you have cash on hand.

Annie and Rob have been have been friends since the Annie was born. Annie is fiercely loyal and always puts her family first. Obviously, she was the first person Teresa and Rob asked to be apart of our special day. Even though Annie now lives in LA, she and Rob have maintained a close relationship and talk almost daily. Teresa is excited to have another sister. Rob and Teresa could not be more excited to have Annie be apart of their special day.

Paul, Teresa's cousin--better known as Paco, Pacorro, Paco Taco, is like a brother to Teresa. From summers in Mexico on the Ranch, to birthday pool parties, Chicago Bulls Championship Rally's, so many memories made growing up in Chicago on the North and South Side. We are happy to have you stand up with us for our wedding!

Liz is T’s ride-or-die, positive soul and zen energy through thick and thin. Always ready for bar hopping on Michigan Ave around the holidays and a phone call and glass of prosecco away for long talks support always. Dog aficionado- and amazing cook, Liz has the most amazing heart and we are so happy to have you with us on our special day—Love you girl!
Graham Swidenbank

Graham is Rob's younger cousin and of the Groomsmen, Graham has known Rob the longest. Rob and Graham share a mutual appreciation of music and the Tottenham Hotspur and make a habit of recapping every Spurs match over the phone or in person. A fun fact about Graham: he is an adult man but the majority of our extended family still calls him Binker so that's kind of a bummer for him.

Christie and T go wayyyyyy back to JAG school, adventures spreading truth and justice in Afghanistan to Christmas in Louisiana and annual trips in between. The best of long distance best friends, she’s little but larger than life and full of love! Dog lover, wine and cheese expert and the biggest smile for days :D love is love is love—we are so happy to have you with us on our special day!

Eric and Rob were teammates Before Rob lived with Teresa, he lived with Eric. They routinely shared beds for mid-afternoon naps, even though they both had their own rooms.

Ava is one of T’s best friends and to each other they call each other friend soulmates. Someone you meet in a place where you least expect it, with open hearts and ready to take on the world and be better together. She’s always there ready for new adventures, threw a helluva surprise birthday party when they lived in North Carolina and was a true true friend supporting T during her deployment and beyond. She the best! We love you to the moon and back!

Em and T were roommates at the Air Force Academy! After college they had their first assignment together in Tacoma WA, and have traveled all over the states together for Air Force work or meeting up in Illinois when traveling home for the holidays. For our whole adult lives we’ve been at the other end of FaceTime calls with trust and confidence in our friendship. Emily is more than a best friend, she is family. Em is the most genuine friend T has ever had and seeing her be the best mom to Nora and Johnny and a wife to John, Commander for her troops, she really does it all and We hope to have a loving family one day like her!

Gunner is the sole reason Rob achieved national recognition as a Mock Trial Competitor. Rob made a mess of things and Gunner cleaned it up. Also, unfortunate name for a law student.
Sara Mares

Sara went to college at Quincy University with Rob. After college Sara went on to get her Masters in Louisville, KY, traveled to Georgia for training she now lives in Colorado. We always get together over the holidays when Sara is visiting her parents in St. Louis—and we love love love seeing her any chance we get! T has been able to spend time with Sara when work trips have taken her to Colorado to the Academy. Sara has got a heart of gold and has put up with Rob for so many years. She’s especially happy now that T is in the picture as someone who brings out the best in Rob and also rescues lots of Senior doggos. We love you Sara and are incredibly honored to have you with us on our special day!

Lucas and Rob have been cantankerous online together for more than 5 years now. Rob also lists Lucas’s son Evan among his best and closest friends.
