Freedom Beach
This is one of Sonia's favorite hidden gems of Phuket. Fun Fact, her friend, Sandra found it online and they put it on the to do list when Sandra and her husband came for a visit. A great way to spend the afternoon, it's nothing fancy, but take your drinks and snacks, and the views are worth it. Take a taxi to Freedom Beach entrance but be prepared to hike down to the actual beach OR tae a long boat from Patong that go daily.
Baan Rim Pa
One of our favorite restaurants in Phuket, the sunset views are stunning, and the food is incredible. If you are looking for a fantastic upscale Thai place, this is it.
James Bond Island
If you are looking for a day trip, Try James Bond Island. We did a day trip and absolutely loved it. Depending on what trip you book (there are a number online with various websites such as viator.com or getyourguide.com) You will have the opportunity to kayak, and see scenery in movies.
Phuket Elephant Sanctuary
If you are looking for something a little different, while giving back (also super fun with kids!) Try the Elephant Sanctuary, it allows you to get up close in personal with elephants that have been rescued around the world. You will see people riding elephants, please don't do this, usually it is animal cruelty. If you want to go somewhere animals are treated well and rescued, this is your place. You can even bathe them!
