Taylor and Hannah first met in January 2019 when they were in the same young single adult ward at Brigham Young University. Taylor was in his second semester of school and Hannah was in her first. They quickly became very close friends and were inseparable all throughout the semester. Although they claimed to be "just friends" anyone that knew them could tell you something more was there. Right after the semester ended, they decided to start a more serious relationship. At this point, Hannah was back in North Carolina and Taylor in Idaho for the summer. FaceTime quickly became the most used app since they only saw each other a couple of times. Various conversations and spiritual impressions guided them and confirmed that they should get married. At the end of the summer, Taylor flew to North Carolina to spend time with Hannah's family. There he proposed at sunset on the bank of a lake near Hannah's home. Quoting one of their favorite songs he said, "will she have my children, will she be my wife?...Hannah I know you're supposed to be my wife, will you marry me?". Of course, she said yes! Taylor and Hannah are currently back at Brigham Young University for fall semester and are enjoying being back together!
Taylor is from Idaho, ironically he grew up in the same town where a lot of Hannah's extended family lives! He is the oldest of four kids, all of them being sisters. Taylor grew up playing a lot of football and still loves to watch football throughout the season, including attending all the BYU home games! For two years, Taylor served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Montevideo, Uruguay. He enjoys spending time outdoors and eating all of Hannah's delicious meals. Taylor is currently taking prerequisites for the business school at Brigham Young University and plans to apply for the marketing and finance programs in the spring.
Hannah is from North Carolina. When she was younger she also lived in Ohio, Virginia, and South Carolina. Luckily for Taylor, although she's grown up in the east, having extended family in Idaho has made the state a second home! Hannah is the oldest of five kids and loves keeping up with them long distance while she's away at college. She's played piano and violin for many years and enjoys participating in musical performances and choirs. In her free time, Hannah also loves hiking, watercoloring, and spending time with friends and family. Hannah is currently undeclared at Brigham Young University and working on her general classes. She hopes to stay there and finish an undergraduate degree.
