There are two shuttles that will be making rounds to the venue that afternoon. The shuttles will pick up from the Hampton Inn parking lot, and deliver to the venue. They are estimating 20-minute round trips for each shuttle, so please try to take a shuttle at 4PM to avoid last-minute congestion. They should be able to transport everyone in a couple trips. The shuttles will resume service starting at 8:30PM, so if you need to run to the hotel or call it a night early, they will be available from then until the end of the reception. Reception ends at 10PM, shuttles will conclude their final loops by 10:30PM.
Yes, the Hampton Inn has on-site parking, as do the other hotels listed on our site.
For those flying in for our wedding, we recommend utilizing a ride share (Uber, Lyft, etc.) or renting a car. The hotel is 9 miles from PHL, so you can get an Uber/Lyft for a reasonable price (~$20-35) if you do not want to rent a car. If you are visiting Philly beforehand, you can take the SEPTA Airport Regional Rail from PHL to 30th Street Station (University City/Center City), and then take the Media/Wawa Regional Rail from 30th Street to Media.
Car or train are the best options for Media-Philly transit. While the Media/Wawa Regional Rail has a Media stop, the Moylan-Rose Valley stop is much closer to the hotel. If you are driving by car, I-95 is your main route. During the week, there is sometimes congestion on either end of that route, so taking local roads from Media to I-95 can be helpful, and getting off I-95 near the airport to Rt 291/to I-76 W can be helpful depending on where in Philly you are going.
Yes! Please see our Schedule tab for more details. In short: if you are in town on Friday, we will be going out for a drink at Iron Hill Brewery if you would like to come hang with the bride & groom. And then we have a brunch at Towne House on Sunday that you are all invited to!
