It’s so good there’s always a line-and usually out the door! Grab a Liveoak Hefeweizen served in an iced cold goblet and you won’t even mind the wait. We recommend the buffalo fries or the truffle fries, any burger on the menu, and a seat out front for the best people watching on South Congress. Just watch out for that Texas heat.

Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que Austin
BBQ aficionados may want to line up for a 4 hour wait at Franklin's, or rent a car to venture out to The Salt Lick, but if you are looking for a cold beer and some good brisket then look no further than Cooper's. Just a 10 minutes walk over the Congress Bridge this historic spot is casual and open late and always hits the spot.
Barton Springs Municipal Pool
Located in Zilker Park, Barton Springs Pool is a recreational outdoor swimming pool that is filled entirely with water from nearby natural springs which makes for chilly water on a hot summer day. There's a diving board and an area for floats-just no alcohol allowed!
