Cocktail Attire. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be on grass, so please choose your footwear accordingly.

What is the schedule for the night?
Answer
Cocktail hour will begin at 4:00pm, during which Tamar and Dov will each have separate tisches - these will include singing, speeches, and some document signing. Feel free to join in either, or mingle and enjoy the food & drinks! Dov will then be danced to Tamar and place a veil over her face. The ceremony (chuppah) will begin directly after, at 5:00pm, and will conclude with Tamar and Dov being danced out together to spend their first moments alone together as a married couple. Reception: Find your seat and enjoy an appetizer course. Then Tamar and Dov will be welcomed in for dancing. We will start with a set of dancing separated by gender with a divider or 'mechitzah' out of respect to those who are more stringent in their observation of Jewish law. At the end of this set of dancing, there will be a "shtick" section. Tamar and Dov will sit facing guests who will perform silly dances or display things referencing inside jokes - paraphernalia, posters, mementos relevant to memories with Tamar and Dov, etc. Feel free to bring props and join in for a turn! Guests will then be invited to sit for the main meal, followed by more dancing - there will be no mechitzah in place at this point, and we will continue to dance the night away!
