Is there a dress code?

Answer

We recommend cocktail attire but ultimately want you to feel comfortable and confident in what you choose to wear! No colors (except fully white... please) are off limits.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at the Cathedral of St. Joseph at 1:00 pm. Please arrive between 12:30 to 12:50 pm to ensure you have plenty of time to find a seat and settle in. For the reception, we will be hosting a cocktail hour with appetizers starting at 4:00 pm. You're welcome to arrive anytime between 4:00 to 5:00 pm as we'll be starting dinner service around 5:30 pm.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

YES to both! Our church has very spacious parking and there is a lot at our reception venue. No stresses on the parking situations!

Question

What should we do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We very much appreciate your attendance at our ceremony and understand this comes with a bit of timing complexity based on church availability. Jeff City has lots of options depending on what you're most interested in! For a fun drink, we recommend hanging out at Cork & Board, BarVino, or BarWhiskey. If you're looking to see some sights, a tour of the Missouri State Capitol, a stroll through the Carnahan Memorial Garden next to the Governor's Mansion, or a short walk across the Bicentennial Bridge are good activities. You also can't go wrong with a scoop of Central Dairy ice cream for an afternoon pick-me-up!

I have a food allergy or dietary need. Can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We will have vegetable & quinoa stuffed peppers as an entree for our vegan or vegetarian folks. Please notify one of our catering staff that you would like this option when entering the buffet line. If you have a food allergy, please let Nick or Lizzy know ASAP and we will work to accommodate!
