Note

We will have block of rooms reserved through the The Mountain Club by Kirkwood Resort. Once the date comes closer we will be sending out the link to booking along with more information regarding the Resort, The nearest hotel or inn is a minimum of at least 25 minutes away. We do suggest Air bnb's in the Kirkwood Village area. The nearest grocery store is at least 1 hour away located in South Lake Tahoe. There is a small general store in the Kirkwood area about 30 minutes away.

Flight

Reno or Sacramento Airport

If you are traveling from a far, we suggest the Reno or Sacramento Airports. They are both not too far, the Tahoe airport is a little smaller, which means they do not have as many airlines!

House Or Rental

Air BNB

We stayed in the Kirkwood Village in an Air BnB and had an amazing experience! Its quiet, peaceful and very private placed right in the middle of a meadow. Lots of hiking trails in the area and you get your own private space.

Kit Carson Lodge

Kit Carson Lodge is one of the nearest lodging sites in the area, it is located 19 minutes away. You can either rent a cabin or stay in one of the various hotel rooms.

The Mountain Club By Kirkwood Resort

The Mountain Club by Kirkwood hotel is located 27 minutes north of The HideOut in the Kirkwood village. It offers an array of room options from 1 bedrooms to small studio apartments. This area is very quiet and sits right in the middle of the Kirkwood meadows.

If you're looking to share a space with another family or your kids want their own bedrooms, Sun Meadows is a great option. They offer small to large condos that are budget-friendly and centered in everything Kirkwood has to offer.

The Kirkwood Inn is a cute, quaint little hotel and saloon about 25 minutes away from The HideOut. Onsite is a restaurant and bar, and they offer a small variety of room choices.
