Ever since Daniel and Rachel started dating, cabins in the north GA mountains were one of their favorite locations for a weekend getaway. Daniel thought that would be the perfect spot to propose. Daniel surprised Rachel with a trip to Blue Ridge the last weekend in July. He planned to have the same dinner they had on the first date- a sushi burrito. They spent the evening at their cabin, enjoying one of their favorite foods and watching the beautiful sunset together. Daniel then set up a tripod with his phone recording the spot he was planning to propose and put on some music from one of her favorite artists, John Mayer. He attached the ring and a note on Riley's (their pup) collar. Riley went over to Rachel and once she saw there was a little box attached, she suspected what was happening. Although neither of them remember exactly what was said at the proposal because of all the nerves and adrenaline, they agreed to commit to one another for the rest of their lives.
